Insurance claims
If your policy covers glass, we can check your excess and lodge the claim for you.
What it costs you
| Full glass cover, no excess | A chip repair or new windscreen will often cost you nothing. |
|---|---|
| Glass cover with an excess | You pay the excess, and your insurer pays the rest. |
| Limited glass claims | Some policies limit the number of glass claims in a policy year. We can check this with your insurer. |
| No insurance | You pay for the work yourself. Ask for a price when you book and we’ll confirm it before we start. |
What to bring
- Your insurer’s name
- Your policy number
- The date the damage happened, roughly if you’re not sure
- Your vehicle registration
Add them to your booking request and we’ll check your cover before you arrive.
How the claim works
- You request a booking and tell us who you’re insured with.
- We check your glass cover and any excess with your insurer.
- We do the repair or replacement and lodge the claim.
- You pay any excess on the day. Your insurer pays us the balance.
